Linux apps
- Launchy
An application launcher that can launch more than just applications. After installation, just hit Alt-Space and type a part of an app or file and bam! Don’t forget to configure it to your liking. And see my special Launchy Plugins section to get the max out of it. Sneak peek: wire it through the Twitter api to instantly create calendar appointments and tasks without opening an application! - Gnome Do
A Quicksilver lookalike with a lot of its features and plugins. Feels a little different than quicksilver and doesn’t have its user friendliness (or Launchy’s for that matter), but does have a lot of handy plugins (i.e. for Remember the Milk, Google calendar, google Documents etc). - Firefox 3
Doesn’t need an introduction. Firefox is made available for most OS’s. See my special Firefox Plugins section for my favourite plugins. - ParcelLite
A history stack app. Keeps track of your previous 100 (maximum) clipboard contents. I love it!
